Today, this historic site has evolved into a sophisticated aviation terminal spanning 11 million square meters. Situated at an elevation of 1,174 feet, the airport features a high-capacity 3,000-meter asphalt runway (Designation 16/34) capable of handling major commercial aircraft such as the Boeing 737.
