The Costa Coffee Story

In 1971, Sergio and Broncosta arrived in London with a passion for great coffee. The Costa brothers tested 112 different types of coffee before discovering the blend they named Mocha Italia, which remains Costa Coffee’s signature blend.

The Mocha Italia Blend

The signature blend balances steam-treated Arabica beans with strong Robusta beans. The beans are roasted in a high-capacity Ningia roaster for 18 minutes to preserve their rich components, nutritional value and flavour.
