The Al-Baha region has received great attention from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God protect him – especially in providing the best and most advanced health care services to the residents of the region. The opening of King Fahd Hospital in Al-Baha, which was ordered to be built by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on him – is considered the opening in the year 1401 AH.

The hospital has been accredited by the Central Council for Accreditation of Health Facilities since 2009 AD, and now the hospital is seeking to obtain international accreditation (JCIA) in an effort to improve the health services provided and to reach beyond patients’ expectations and community demands in the Al-Baha region.
