Masjid al-Taneem or Masjid Ayesha

Masjid Al-Taneem, also known as Masjid Ayesha, is a prominent religious landmark in Makkah. Located in the Al-Hil area, 8 kilometers from the Holy Kaaba, it marks the boundary of the sacred Haram.

Historical Significance

The mosque commemorates the place where the Mother of the Believers, Aisha bint Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her), entered the state of Ihram.

Ihram and Umrah

Masjid Al-Taneem serves as a designated Miqat for the people of Makkah and those wishing to perform Umrah more than once. It is a starting point for entering Ihram and making the intention for Umrah before continuing toward the Kaaba.
