Abha Maternity and Children Hospital has earned accreditation from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) as a training center for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Fellowship. This accreditation comes after the hospital successfully met all the requirements and criteria set by the SCHS for fellowship programs.

This recognition highlights the hospital’s ongoing efforts to advance fellowship programs in medical specialties and support scientific initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills of physicians. The goal is to leverage the outcomes of these programs to further develop the hospital’s medical staff.

It is also worth noting that Abha Maternity and Children Hospital was one of the first hospitals to receive accreditation in the specialties of obstetrics, gynecology, and neonatal care.
