Strategically developed to welcome both international explorers and local visitors to the historic AlUla region, the airport has undergone a monumental transformation. Approved by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) for international operations, the airport’s capacity has quadrupled—expanding from an initial 100,000 to 400,000 passengers annually. Spanning a vast 2.4 million square meters, the airport now stands as a sophisticated commercial and tourism hub, providing a seamless and high-end arrival experience that mirrors the cultural and natural grandeur of the region it serves.
