The Security Forces Hospital was established in 1393 AH, when a small clinic was opened with very limited resources in the city of Riyadh. Then it was expanded in 1396 AH to become a hospital with a single operating capacity. With the support of Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, and his deputy, Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, a hospital was built next to this dispensary with a single operational capacity.
