King Saud Airport in Al-Aqiq, about 40 km from Al-Bahah

Al-Bahah is a small mountain region in the south-west, between Taif and Abha, covered with juniper forests and terraced valleys. Its summer fog and mild temperatures make it a quieter alternative to the larger summer resorts.

The region is known for its old stone villages, the most famous being Dhee Ain, a marble-hilltop village surrounded by banana and palm farms below the escarpment.
